Rumors
The other day I was famished and seemed to be a bottomless pit with my food intake. My construction superintendent proceeded to ask me if I was eating for two, which of course, I denied. Later, while talking to another superintendent from our company, he mentioned that I was so hungry I was gnawing on his leg. When asked why I was so hungry, he replied, "because Kate is eating for three."
It has now become the running joke around the construction trailer that Justus and I are expecting twins.
Now while Justus and I would be thrilled to be expecting, this isn't the case. However, my superintendents are taking bets as to how long it will take for the ladies in the office to offer to throw me a baby shower...
Again, it's just a rumor. We are not expecting. Heaven help me with these guys when I am pregnant sometime in the unknown future.

Mood Fabric Slipcovers!
Back in November, I bought some remnant fabric while exploring Mood in New York (thank you, Mood!). For one reason or another, I've put off using the fabric to cover some old throw pillows. Yesterday, on a whim, I whipped out the fabric and within half an hour had two slipcovers made! I used the simple envelope slipcover method which is fast, but tends to use more fabric then recovering a pillow.
I love the way this fabric pops off my couch!

Sarah's Sock Hop
A Fabulous Fifties Sock Hop was held in honor of Sarah's Birthday this year. As the official photographer for the event, here are a few of my favorites:
Mom and Ryan at Five Guys for dinner. Notice that Ryan even wore the pink chiffon scarf!
Dancing at home :)
Group shot of the guests and birthday girl before milkshakes and Just Dance on the Wii.
By the way, I am so proud of myself for cutting out these adorable fifties glasses!
Spring Training & Ryan's Bday
For Ryan's Birthday, he opted to not have a party, but rather he chose to attend a Spring Training game. Great choice, Dude!
We chose to go on his birthday, which left us with the Rockies vs. the Texas Rangers at the Salt River Fields. The Stadium is gorgeous and it was great to be in a smaller stadium. We thought we would be in the nose-bleed section, but ended up with fantastic views from behind home plate.
Happy Birthday, Ryan!
Family Visits - Part 1 Jordan & Jera
Lately, we've been blessed with some visits from family.
Jordan and Jera came down for Jera's family reunion and we had the opportunity to watch the kids while they attended the temple.
Enjoyed some Clifford and Muppets
Read Dr. Seuss together
The next day we also got to hang out with Jordan and explore Chandler together. First we explored downtown Chandler. Jordan kept asking to see the ghetto of Chandler. When we finally went by it, he didn't believe us; it is so small that if you blink, you would miss it.
Saturday night we took a stroll through Paseo Vista Park in Chandler. It was great to spend time with Jordan & Jera! Thanks for visiting!
