Memorial Day Weekend

We had a wonderful time in St. George with Jordan and Jera!  We especially loved spending time with Kayl and Jens, our niece and nephew who, of course, are adorable.  We went to The Days of Camelot Fair to watch some jousting and partake in the feast (ok, we only ate cinnamon roasted almonds, but they were good!).  We also had fun walking down to the river and throwing/skipping rocks with Kayl.  It is great to have so much family so close!

Attitude of Gratitude

Lately I've been trying to be better at having an attitude of gratitude. So below is a quick list of things that I am especially grateful for this week:

• Answered and unanswered prayers - i.e. We recently had plans that were canceled at the last minute due to some circumstances out of our control. We prayed for guidance and assistance as we tried to make alternate plans for the summer. Just this week we found out that our original plans are now able to go ahead as planned. Whew! What a relief!
  
• Eternal families
• A husband who enjoys cooking and is willing to vacuum
• An uncle who is willing to pick me up at anytime so that I can enjoy Lake Powell with my family (and wakeboard!)
  
• A fabulous weekend in St. George with an adorable niece and nephew
• Mobile to Mobile and weekend minutes on cell phone plans
• Cub Scouts
